Companion Clubhouse is a home away from home. We care for small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and more. We strive to care and treat your pets with the love we give our own. Their welfare is the uttermost important thing to us.
My name is Tanya. I founded Companion Clubhouse mid summer of 2023 in my home in Newport, South Wales.
For those of you that do not know me personally: I am obsessed with animals. I had many family pets growing up as a child - and even now as an adult. I’ve had many dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, hamsters, gerbils and the list goes on. I’ve also lived with cats and helped care for horses and ponies.
I am also a co-founder of ‘Bristol Rabbit Rescue & Friends’, a small pet rescue that started in August 2018. We work alongside vets and other animal charities to ensure we keep up to date with animal welfare.
For a few years, I worked for a pet service company in Bristol. I did pet visits, dog walks and small pet boarding. Now that I’ve moved cities and crossed the bridge, I want to make my own venture working with animals.
In my time, I have done Pet First Aid Training and have also been awarded a diploma in exotic animal care. I am fully insured and dbs checked.
Born in April 2023. She is incredibly intelligent and also gentle natured. She has been raised around rabbits, guinea pigs and even a human newborn!
Two rescue bunnies that pretty much run the house. They live indoors and are very loved - even though they’re very bossy buns who have a lot of sass.
Four Guinea pigs that live in a group. They are indoor pigs that live in our living room. Tanya rescued Tilly herself in 2018. The other 3 were adopted in 2021 and 2022.
